Underwriter Cardiff

Our prestigious client is one of the largest financial companies in the UK.They are now looking for an experienced mandated underwriter for there office in the Cardiff area.

Experienced UnderwriterSalary to £25K (dependent on experience)

Underwrite cases from lenders & ensure that they are presented to the lender in a way that maximises the likelihood of the lender offering them quickly.· Provide an exceptional level of service to your clients.· Negotiate with lenders, valuers and solicitors to ensure a successful and speedy result on your cases.· Work within specified service standards.· Maintain and update client files and data base.· Keep abreast of changes within the financial sector.· Ensure your product knowledge is current and up to date.Key Skills required:-· Competent in underwriting/packaging cases from lenders.· Ability to strive to get the right end result for the client. · Prepared to challenge lenders, valuers and solicitors where necessary.· Capable of dealing with problem cases and providing solutions.· Persuasive.· Tenacious.· Excellent interpersonal skills. · Excellent communication skills.· Computer literate. · Able to work under pressure and within time scales.· Organized.· Possess a willing and ‘can do’ attitude. · Team player.Salary £25K (dependent on experience) Interested send us your CV ASAP.
