Mortgage Underwriters
Based Nr Chester,
The position requires flexibility and as such the business may reasonably require you to undertake a variety of different duties and perform a different role or responsibilities according to the business needs.
Key Tasks - To answer incoming calls quickly and politely and provide assistance to brokers, whilst ensuring that Data Protection rules are strictly adhered to.
To promote the company products and services.
To successfully replace existing cases with the company lenders ensuring accuracy at all times.
To ensure that brokers are fully aware of criteria when either discussing a new case or replacing a Passover.
Ensures that Decisions in Principles are sourced accurately.
Ensure that regular reviews take place to monitor business received as a result of a DIP.*
Ensure keeps up to date with lenders changes in policy and that this information is quickly available for reference.
Follow company policy/procedures.* Assist underwriting teams with post, dips or any other support that is deemed necessary. Ensuring documentation is requested or received (as applicable) and interpreted in a timely and accurate manner.* Suggest improvements on policy/procedure.
Refer any complaints to team leader.
Ensure that has up to date and accurate lending criteria for relevant lenders, feeding back t peers/team leader any necessary amendments.
