Litigation Executive Based Chester in Financial Services The role is both demanding and rewarding and would suit someone who is self motivated, pays excellent attention to detail and is perhaps studying law. Major Activities · Responsible for turning unsecured debt into secured, by way of a court order, eventually leading to a charge order. · Dealing with different court offices, solicitor’s practices and individual customers. · Negotiating settlement on existing debt or a promise to pay over a set period of time. · Dealing with secured portfolio, orders for sale, repossession hearings, charging order hearings, defended accounts, etc. Knowledge, Experience/Skills needed · Excellent working knowledge of products · Some collections knowledge is necessary · Interest in Law. There are new developments in law regularly and a willingness to learn is essential, this may involve some reading on your own time. · Strong negotiation skills and excellent customer service. · Excellent communication skills · Working as part of a team and on own initiative · Ability to deal with high levels of work load · Excellent numerical skills · Capable of working to targets Full training will be given, both internally and externally. There will also be an opportunity to attend court once competent in the job. Hours of work 9am – 5.30pm no weekends Salary neg at interview.
